Silent Foundry is a cross-border venture studio focusing on turning brand DNA into premium physical products. We build ventures of our own, license IP and partner with cool brands.
By 2010, Marshall’s core amplifier market was becoming increasingly niche. Together with its partner, Marshall translated that identity into new product categories with much larger addressable markets.
Rather than just licensing the logo, the distinctive Marshall DNA was translated into home and consumer audio: its design rules, materials, proportions, tactile response and unmistakable stage presence. The new products still looked and felt Marshall, even as the category changed completely.
Marshall moved from guitar amplifiers into home and consumer audio. The result was a vastly expanded market, ultimately leading to a $1.1B acquisition.
We take ventures from concept through design, engineering, prototyping, manufacturing and mass production. We combine this with creative strategy, operators and the capital to build businesses that scale.

We purpose-build and set up 24/7 AI agents to support our ventures with market research, intelligence, concept and product development, as well as assisting design and engineering with DNA extraction, CAD translation and confirming unique design rules, as well as general operations.
Every venture is different, so we customise the agent stack and workflows around each one.
Our highly experienced team of industrial designers and engineers provides CAD, mechanical engineering, electronics design and integration, prototyping and full production oversight.
We use CNC machining, 3D printing, sand moulding and other innovative, low-cost, low-volume methods to develop, test and validate products before committing to production tooling. We also specialise in reskinning and redevelopment, which can create products at a fraction of the cost of a conventional ground-up product design.
With over 20 years of experience in China manufacturing, we have a deep supplier and factory network.
Our capabilities span sourcing, factory onboarding, tactics and negotiation, tooling, retooling, reskinning, production engineering, supply chain management, quality control and logistics.
Our ventures include service models, concept and business model expansion, China licensing, partnerships, operators, distribution, IP development and the commercial models required to take brand DNA from product to business to a scalable venture.
